Batting
Cage Location: On Aug 09, 2023, Richmond Parks and Recreation
received a request to extend the Blundell Park batting cage by
up to 100 feet (it currently is about 120 feet long with 10 feet
between each pair of steel upright supports). The current batting
cage is situated so that trees hide most of it from anyone viewing
Blundell Park from the west. The batting cage extension would
extend past that veil of trees.

Six-Fold
Increase in People using Blundell Park: Within a few years,
BC Housing plans to redevelop Rosewood Village which backs on
Blundell Park. The present 136 Units would be replaced with 713
Units (12 storeys with 3 levels of above ground parking).
